Once the order is completed and prepared for pick up by the couriers, a tracking number will be emailed to you through the respected shipper’s platform. For example, UPS will email the customer their tracking information. Other courier companies we use will do the same. Please check your inbox and spam file for tracking notifications.

Depending on your location & level of service chosen, packages can vary from province to province, country to country.  Expect deliveries to take 2-4 business days within Canada and USA deliveries to take 4-8 business days.

Delays, or alternate scheduled deliveries, can be common and is due to either mechanical issues, weather delays due to severe conditions & other circumstances which the couriers cannot control. We are not responsible for your package once it leaves our premises. However, we will help in any way we can to locate your package for you.

In the case that your original tracking number provided does not work, please contact us via email sa***@dr*********.com. In some rare cases, the shipping method of your order may have changed and a new tracking # was issued. We will be more than happy to provide you with new tracking information upon request.

Please contact sales for express & expedited freight quotes, or if ordering online, you may choose this service option, or indicate in the memo section of your order. Please note all express & expedited shipments must be confirmed & processed before 11:00amPST to arrange ship out that same day. If the deadline is not met, the package will be shipped the following business day. A service fee of $3.00 is added to the quote for arrangement and special pick up for your order.

In most cases, once the package has left our facility, the couriers cannot reroute the items until an initial attempt of delivery is made. After the attempted delivery is not successful a re-route can be made by the customer by calling the courier directly. Please note charges may be incurred to the customer in the amount of $15.00 for delivery corrections, or if wrong mailing information was given to Drako Sports by the customer.

If in the case that you decide to cancel your order while the package is in transit, or once it arrives to you, the package will be returned to sender. The cost of freight for return services will be deducted from the customers original invoice credit. If in the case, “free freight” purchase was made the original shipping cost to Drako Sports as well as freight charges for return will be deducted from the original invoice amount. This applies to all or one item in the order.

Couriers operate under strict time frames and have various routes throughout the day. Depending on your area and location, delivery times will vary between 7am-7pm on regular business days. If your package is being delivered to a residential address, you have an option to request no signature required when placing your order – this is done under your ‘Instructions’ at the Check Out phase of your order. The driver will, at his own discretion, leave the package at the front door. If signature is required, the package will be taken back to the depot where another delivery attempt will be made, or they may contact the customer for pick up at the local depot.
If the location for delivery is a commercial business and it is closed when the courier arrives, the package will be taken back to the depot and a new delivery schedule will be given. Drako warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship less “fair wear and tear” for a period of 90 days from date of purchase, provided they have not been subjected to obvious abuse, neglect or misuse. Drako’s sole liability is limited to repairing or replacing products that are returned within this 90-day period, unless specific product literature specifies otherwise. To claim a warranty for exchange please contact our sales rep with the original invoice number with date purchased. We may ask for detailed photos of the damaged goods and may arrange pickup of the damaged item for inspection. Evidence that the item has been misused or treated improperly or ‘fair wear and tear’ applies, a denial of the warranty claim will be issued. Most uniform manufacturers will have specific washing details on the inside of the uniform. If there is not one there the basic rule of thumb is cold water wash and hang dry. Depending on the cotton count, placing your uniform in the dryer can cause some unexpected shrinkage. If you can’t avoid using the dryer, fix your setting to low heat tumble dry no minimize the chance of shrinking.

You may also ask your instructor for correct sizing, as they will know from experience how to properly outfit you for equipment. While it is very rare, sometimes shipments are damaged during transit. Claims for damaged goods take time and proper documentation. Damaged or shorted shipments must be reported within 3 business days of receiving the shipment in order to start the claim process. It is the responsibility of the receiver to inspect the shipment in its entirety before signing off on the shipment. In the rare case there is damage or a shortage it must be clearly noted and signed for by the driver as well as the receiver on the delivery paperwork. The paperwork must be submitted along with photos within 3 business days. Failure to provide the necessary documents will result in an incomplete claim and will not be accepted by the courier company.

There are many differences between these types of materials used for general sparring equipment. Cloth tends to be the more economical form of sparring protection but in most cases offer minimal-moderate protection. Don’t forget, that cloth can get smelly and have its color fade due to the sweat retention. Vinyl foam gear can offer you medium protection while still being a cost-effective form of equipment and is a very popular choice in many traditional forms of martial arts.  Although the more expensive material used of the 3, leather sparring products mainly offers you maximum protection and durability. This tends to be the choice of intermediate to advanced athletes.


Most clubs will have sparring gear on hand for the student to purchase. The reason here is not to gouge the student or parents for money, but to ensure they are protected properly as safety is always a priority. If you need to purchase outside of your club, ask your instructor for advice on the different brands available and where specifically to purchase them from. Most retailers will help you to the best of their ability, but with various forms of sparring and gear requirements, it can prove, at times difficult. So come armed with as much information possible to ensure you’re provided with the right equipment.

Very good question, but one not easily answered as you would imagine. Each gym and style of martial art will offer you something that the other doesn’t. The one main thing that they all have in common is that the majority of clubs and gym’s will offer you free trial memberships to view their facility and take part in the regular class. Remember to ask frequent questions and talk to the other students about the club. Do this until you find which style or club suits your needs the best.
