VINYL PRINT

Vinyl prints are best suited for logo’s with one single colour scheme and do not have intricate details. Large block letters preferred. These prints can be used on all garments, but recommended on heavier cotton based materials. Suggested artwork requirement is in Vector format.

This process is best used on white and off-white 100% polyester garments. Sublimation can offer you a no bleed, no fade permanent print that will last the life of the garment itself. Suggested art work required is a High Res Jpeg or Vectorised image. Items are produced in-house.

Sublimation Longest Lasting

Sublimation printing is the application of inks onto a surface using a heat press by applying heat over time and pressure. The inks convert from a solid to a gaseous state enabling them to penetrate the surface so that a permanent, full colour image is formed. The colour penetrates the surface of the item so that the result is colourful, long lasting and resistant to scratching.

Dye sublimation printing is done on a polyester or polymer fabrics. At high temperatures, the solid dye converts into a gas. The pores of the polymer allows the gas to enter. When the temperature drops, the pores close and the gas reverts to a solid state. It has now become a part of the fabric. For this reason true dye sublimation cannot be done on natural materials such as 100% cotton. This is why sublimation can last up to 10 years or outlast the fabric  when done on the correct fabric. Light colours only.

SILK SCREENING

Silk screening is the most common form of print and can produce visually striking results. Majority of all fabrics can be used for this process and is ideal for larger quantity orders. Average time frame once artwork is approved is 1-2 weeks. A vectorised format is required for this method. If you do not have a vectorised format, please ask us on how we may assist you.

HEAT LASER TRANSFER

Laser prints are a great affordable option when you need to produce small batches of clothing and as is best suited on cotton based garments. What Is Laser Transfer?

Laser printing produces high-quality text and graphics (and moderate-quality photographs) by repeatedly passing a laser beam back and forth over a negatively charged cylinder called a “drum”. The drum then selectively collects electrically charged powdered ink toner and transfers the image to paper, which is then heated in order to permanently fuse the text, imagery, or both, to the paper. This is then applied to the garment via the heat transfer process.
